Today we're starting a new series, all about trivia! We'll begin with seasonal fruit, and what could be more appropriate for fall than apples?
So without further ado, here are five fun facts about apples!
Fun Fact #1: There are over 7,000 kinds of apples growing all over the world!
Fun Fact #2: The science of apple growing has a fantastic name: pomology.
Fun Fact #3: An apple peel contains two-thirds of an apple's total fiber, along with lots of antioxidants.
Fun Fact #4: Apples are members of the rose family.
Fun Fact #5: Apples are 25% air! That's why they float in water.
