Matcha Toll House Cookies

Someone loved them so much they snuck in and took one!

  • 2 sticks butter unsalted (room temperature)

  • .75 cups brown sugar (packed)

  • .75 cups sugar

  • 2 each eggs large

  • 1.3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder (or a few drops of green food color)

  • 2 cup chocolate chips

  1. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the vanilla extract and the eggs, one at a time, scraping the bowl in between each addition and once while mixing.

  2. Add the dry ingredients. Scrape the bowl and mix just until the cookie dough comes together. Add the chips and mix lightly.

  3. Scoop the cookies with a small spoon onto trays with parchment paper. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-13 minutes. Remove from pan and allow to cool on a rack.

  4. Store in a sealed container.
