Also known as "drupes" or stone fruits, peaches are related to nectarines, cherries, and even mangos!Fun Fact #2: There are two types of peaches. Freestone peaches make it easy to separate the fruit from the pit, while clingstone peaches have fruit that is tougher to detach.Fun Fact #3: August is National Peach Month.Fun Fact #4: The state that grows the most peaches is actually California.
