It sounds like an oxymoron, right? Vegetable fruits?

However, because this course is organized botanically, we've now arrived at the subgroup of vegetables that fit the dictionary definition of fruits! This category includes avocadoes, eggplant, peppers, squash, and tomatoes, among other popular veggies.

Here's a quick guide to selecting and storing fruit and vegetables, along with an exploration of their health benefits.

Now let's talk cooking.

Many of these vegetables are quite delicious when served raw.

Now other vegetables, like winter squash, are much better when cooked.
