The Best of FAH: March Edition

What a whirlwind of a month!

National Nutrition Month 2023 was such fun, and our team of dietitians had a blast coming up with ways to help your audience Fuel for the Future.

But that’s not all we did!

We explored hot nutrition topics like CBD and food sources of protein, along with reviving some of our favorite series like “Cracking the Vault” (with sneak peeks into member-exclusive content) and Meatless Cooking (with chef-developed recipes that are perfect for cooking demos and newsletters).

I’d love to hear what the highlights of your March were, and in the meantime, here are our three most popular blog posts for this month…

City Tacos: Gone Meatless

March’s most beloved recipe was also the first installment of our Meatless Cooking series. These delicious tacos lend themselves well to meal prepping and come together in just a few simple steps.

What is CBD?

Our most popular blog post this month came as part of our “Cracking the Vault” series and features everything you need to know about CBD.

In it, Lynn Grieger, RDN, CDCES, CHWC, CPT explores what CBD is, why it’s expanding in marketplaces right now, how it differs from “pot”, and her recommendations about CBD products as a registered dietitian nutritionist.

Protein Comparison Charts & Handouts:

And finally, our top members-only post of March was hands-down the protein comparison chart and its corresponding handouts. This post explores common sources of protein, both animal and plant, and highlights the nutritional impact of each. Seitan, chicken breasts, black beans, jackfruit: this post is a gold mine!
