Agua Fresca Beverage

Serves 8 | Serving Size: 1 cup
Total Time: 10 min | Prep: 5 min | Cook: 5 min
A delicious drink made with fruit, water, lime, and a little sugar. Colorful and fresh on any day of the week plus a great alternative to soda.

4 cups seedless watermelon cubes
4 cups water
1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
Juice of 1 lime or lemon
Cut the rind off the watermelon and cut in cubes.

Bring the water and sugar to a boil to make a syrup. Allow to cool on the stove.

Add the syrup to the watermelon and blend on medium speed in a blender until smooth. Add the lime juice.

Chill until ready to serve.
Chef's Tips:
You can use berries, other types of melon, kiwis, or peaches, too.
