Recipe: Strawberry Gel

Strawberry GelStruggling with a surfeit of strawberries? Try this tasty recipe for strawberry gel!Strawberry GelServes: 12 | Serving Size: 1/2 cupIngredients:

  • 4 cups strawberries, rinsed and stemmed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp pectin

Directions:

  1. Mash the strawberries in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Bring the water, sugar, and pectin to a boil, whisking frequently.
  3. Strain the pectin mixture over the berries and mix well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate. This gel will keep for 1-2 weeks in the fridge.
