Quick Tips: Lemon and Lime Juice

FavoriteLoadingAdd to favorites

Test Kitchen Question: How can you extract the most juice from a lemon or lime, without working too hard?

Answer: Heat the lemon or lime in the microwave for about 30 seconds on high power. The intense heat ruptures the cells of the citrus, so an average squeeze quickly yields most of the juice.
