We have a brand-new poster in the Nutrition Education Store, and we thought we'd celebrate its introduction with a new series!

The Building Blocks of Health!

Now, we all know that a healthy eating pattern and regular physical activity are the keys to good health, but today we're going to zoom in on that eating pattern and take a look at just what makes up a healthy approach.

That's where the building blocks come in. Each post will feature a different kind of food that is key to good health. We'll look at why those foods are good for you and then offer some recipes that feature each set.
