Meal Prep and Salad

Select a variety of fresh produce in season from the grocery store or farmer's market. Favorites include:

  • 1 knife chefs knife or santori knife
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 collander
  • 1 peeler
  • 5 storage containers or zip lock style bags


  • 4 each Radishes
  • 2 each Carrots
  • 1 head Lettuce
  • 1 each Onions
  • 1 each Tomatoes
  • 1 each Peppers
  • 1 each Cauliflower
  • 1 each Apples
  • 1 cup Berries
  • 1 tbsp Nuts or Seeds


  • Prep the items and store them in sealed containers. Whenever you want to make a salad it only takes a few minutes. Plus these items double as lunch and snacks, too. Some items are better prepared at the last minute but most can be washed, peeled, and cut or whatever needs to be done to prep them.


You can use these items as snacks or in other dishes like tacos, burritos, stir fry, and fajitas.
