How's National Nutrition Month going for you?
We're having a blast! First Hollis Bass, MEd, RD, LD put together an amazing list of ways to celebrate Nutrition Month each week: Quick & Easy Ideas for National Nutrition Month
Then Lisa Andrews, MEd, RD, LD explored the theme of the month and gave some ways for your clients to have the most fun with it in the post For National Nutrition Month, Celebrate a World of Flavors!
Of course there's also the Nutrition Month Contest, which I'm sure you don't want to miss.
Anyway, now here we are, halfway through National Nutrition Month. Where do we go from here?
Here are 3 ideas...
Idea #1: National Nutrition Month® Campaign Toolkit
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has put together a stunning list of resources for health educators. The National Nutrition Month® Campaign Toolkit features graphics, games, blogger badges, handouts, presentation guides, and more! Which will make your life easier?
Did I mention there's a social media toolkit too?
Idea #2: Hit the Recipe Archive
I was a professional chef before I started Food and Health Communications, Inc, and our recipe archive has over 1,000 free recipes!
What better way to Celebrate a World of Flavors than with this searchable collection? You can sort it by recipe ingredient, type of food, or even by meal! This could lead to a fantastic cooking demonstration, email blast, or social media campaign.
Idea #3: Try This Handout
Here are a few fun ways for your audience to Celebrate a World of Flavors, all in one handy PDF: New National Nutrition Month Handout
